Reverse decision to try 12 y/o Cristian Fernandez as an adult

I am a child psychologist. Since retirement, I have worked with the courts as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, a court-appointed advocate for children. The story of Cristian is familiar. In a civilized country, one treats children as inherently different than adults. it must be written into our consciousness and the law that children are to be educated and brought into society as a contributing member. One does not consign a child to oblivion. It is the responsibility of all of us to see that the child is properly raised.
