Matt commented on the article |I agree with Romy. It so easy for us to tell them to change their lifestyles or to get a job; many don't realize that getting a job is the problem. Large scale homelessness, like that seen in neo-Hoovervilles, is a symptom of systemic problems, not individual choices.
