Eugene Carter

Since 1966 I have been a community Organizer and activist. I have participate in many campaigns from voter registration with congressman John Lewis,seeking to gain access to the democratic party in MS. with Fannie Lou Hammer and AAron Henry to working for President Jimmye Carter re-election campaign only to witness a band- aid approach to solving the problem of the poor and middle class. At 63 years of age I know we can't keep doing the same thing and expect a difference outcome. I am commited to change but the change we seek must come from the people rather than the Fed's.
