You want better conditions for the inmates, and we want the non-violent drug offenders released.  If marijuana, and other drugs were legal, all the money that is for the inmates now gets spread around better because there will be a good amount of people released,  oh and from the production of Hemp, we save billions on the drug war, make billions on the tax revenue off of hemp alone, and even more money that can be spread around.

The topic across the nation isn't just reform of one thing or another, it's reforming everything.  Oh course we need money to do things like that, so whats the problem with making Hemp our number one cash crop, restabilize our economy, diodesiel from hemp to drive our vehicles, and get everyone from homeless and prisoners, etc, better conditions.

Oh I know why, because our government has their little fingers into pharma and oil, which if hemp was legal they would all go broke and the people would thrive.

The constitution is in place to control the government, and protect the citizens.  Somewhere along the lines, things got turned around.

I read a story a while back, and have heard 100'sjust like it, a 13 yr old male was caught on school grounds selling marijuana.  Okay, for the record, I do not agree with marijuana being in the hands of minors or being sold to them.  But something else I don't agree with, with even more passion, is the fact that they ripped him out of the public schools, and tossed him in a juvenile detention center.  What good is that doing, this kid was actually a good kid, into sports, good grades, stood up to the bullies, etc.   Now tell me how can you justify snatching a kid from their parents, taking them away from the teachers they idolize and the friends they care about, and throwing them in a facility that teaches tough love instead of using compassion and education to help this young man?   He should of been suspended from school for a few days so the parents had time to sit down with him and get everything out on the table, and then follow that up with even more education on marijuana and open his eyes that it is an adult's (or should be) decission if they endugle in marijuana when they are of age.  Not lock him up and break his spirit, that only creates real criminals.

Then you have the dirty cops who use brutal tactics against the people they are suppose to be protecting.   Why do cops have to smash doors down in the middle of the night, especially when children are in the home and risk a gun fight over drugs?  Why can't they wait until the house is empty, arrest people while walking/driving to work instead and have a much lower risk situation, then once they have them in custody, use their keys and OPEN the door to their home, you know, as apposed to kicking it in and toting assault rifles around.  But of course they aren't going to do it this way, because if they did they would actually have to have justifiable search warrants to breach the home.

Then there is the defense lawyers who get real  violent criminals off on technicalities, and the prosecuting attorneys that crucify good people, while plea-bargaining with violent offenders and sex offenders.  All the while the judge sits on his high horse and allows all this stuff to go on right before his/her eyes and he does nothing, and usually supports it!!

Or the thought I heard about was closing down our borders and heavily patroling them to keep control of what's coming in and out.  Okay, even if you do stop all the mexican cartels from getting their product into the states, that only stopped the flow from that direction.  Now new drug dealers and cartels will rise up within our own walls, and instead of fighting with cartels that are in another country, by keeping drugs illegal you just invited them into your back yard because the market will see a brief shortage in availiability, followed by a massive erruption of uncontrolled drugs in our streets.

So, control the drugs like marijuana, legalize, tax and require ID for purchase of marijuana so we aren't employing drug dealers and cartels any longer because the value of drugs will drop quite a bit, especially one like marijuana that can be grown at home.  Tax it and gain revenue off it's sale, and put the drug dealers and cartels out of business because who is going to buy a little bag of pot from a drug dealer that packs a weapon under his coat, as apposed to walking into a liquor store and buying it in a safe environment.

If we can do this, it wil be the largest step forward into fixing EVERYTHING that is wrong with our country.  It is an easy step to take, you just have to do it.  The hard work is sorting everything else out, but sorting everything else out will be impossible when the people are screaming at the top of their lungs for civil rights, and thats what this is all about is our civil rights.  Until that is addressed completely, meaning no decrim BS, just straight forward legalization, only then can something be done about the other many problems that poor policies have brought upon our country.

Wow, this is terrible, someone should do something about these sick, sick people that put coats on dogs.  They should get the death penalty for such a demonic act.
