I am a dedicated aid worker and have just returned to the UK to read for a Master of Development Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies. Starting off as a UNICEF UK fund-raiser, I gained my drive for the field after a short placement with a Liberian NGO on Budaburam refugee Settlement in Ghana working as a teacher and aid counsellor. After graduating with a degree in International relations last June I have been working for a local ngo in Da Nang City, Vietnam helping to develop their program infrastructure and working full time as an English teacher.
