Christina is a physician, researcher, mother and advocate. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Public Health. Most of her work involves improving the health and health care of people who are traditionally not served well in the health care system. This includes domestic violence advocates, racial and ethnic minorities, people with mental illness and/or chronic pain, and people with disabilities, especially autism. She is Co-Director of the Academic Autistic Spectrum Partnership in Research and Education (AASPIRE - www.aaspireproject.org) and a member of various local and national groups working to end violence against women.
