Glenda commented on the article |The following story brings tears to my eyes. That our unique natural resources are being destroyed by illegal alien drug cartels is repulsive. Our National forests are part of what makes this country great, and to see it treated as a garbage dump is like a knife twisted deep into my heart. This story is one of the BEST REASONS I can think of to BUILD the border wall strong and tall.

Debris airlifted out of remote region

NEWPORT, Tenn. - The cleanup of a former Cocke County drug site in the Cherokee National Forest was completed earlier this week by forest workers and members of the Tennessee National Guard Counterdrug Task Force.
The location was in a remote area of Cocke County, and debris from the location was loaded into trash bags, placed in large cargo nets, and lifted from the location by a National Guard UH 60 helicopter from the 230th Air Cavalry Squadron, based in Smyrna, Tenn., according to National Guard Task Force Captain David Roberts.
The Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication discovered a 10-acre location of more than 350,000 young plants last spring. They were cut and carried two miles to a Forest Service road, where they were taken to an undisclosed site and destroyed, according to Forest Service officials.
But there were quantities of trash, clothing, propane tanks and other items that needed to be cleaned up from the site.
"These guys had been living there for some time," Roberts said. He said they had built a dam to divert water to the patch, and the area was littered with clothing, tarpaulins, junk and other items. -

If a person is caught burglarizing a home with their child in tow, they will be arrested and the child will be sent to Children's Services.
They know this before they do it, but they do it anyway.
Is it fair, once they're arrested, to whine that they will be separated from their child? To EXPLOIT that child to save themselves?
Please, stop with the sob stories.
Unlawful behavior has something called CONSEQUENCES and we are all EQUALLY responsible for the consequences of our own actions. Illegal aliens included.
Their children are not even PART of the equation that is created when they unfairly impose their will (illegal behavior) on others. -

Kat, it doesn't offend me. It does anger me though that your parents gave you an unfair advantage over people who have done their background checks, paid their fees, have waited patiently for years and have sacrificed to come to this country the RIGHT way - not the WRONG (dishonest AND illegal) way that your parents chose to do.
They made this YOUR problem (and ours) because they decided that THEY are more important than others, that THEY would do whatever it takes to get what they want - the chance to live and work in my country no matter WHAT. They have decided FOR ME and my fellow citizens, that MY country's laws don't apply to them.
The dishonesty that it takes to do that IS passed on to their children and they KNOW this even before they come here - yet they do it anyway, regardless of how it displaces HONEST immigrants. Then when the law finally catches up to them, they want our sympathy. That type of mindset is revolting to most Americans.
That kind of mindset is what has allowed corruption and violence to continue unabated in the countries your parents came from - they are not courageous people, they are cowards for taking the easy way out - by making YOUR problems OUR problems - and then acting as if we OWE them the right to stay here.
You are biased and so am I. This is the country my ancestors fought and died for - and I'm DEFENDING it against people like your parents - who see our country as one big game to see who can exploit it for the longest without getting deported.
The problem isn't with YOU personally, it's with 20 MILLION OTHERS who think the same way you do - and EXPECT Americans to think that way too. Americans respect law and order and you and your parents undermine the respect and authority that our laws deserve.
You all (pro illegal alien extremists) think that you should be the EXCEPTIONS to our rules - that "equality" means an unfair advantage in your favor.
How long do you think that our country can sustain that kind of overpopulation? Or is it that you just don't CARE now that you've "got yours"? -

Some people don't like DIVERSE opinions and resort to excuses as to why others don't agree with their perspectives.
Maybe it's as simple as one group of people (Americans) who deserve to have protection from non-personas living underground in our society, and another group of people (who think they know what is best for us) who want to force Americans into overlooking their unlawful behavior - yet WE must follow the rules. Even small children understand the unfairness an audacity of THAT concept.
It's obtuse to believe that tens of millions of invaders won't generate resentment in the populace when they try to force it to accept them.
We are the most generous country in the world, yet billions of dollars from the U.S. (and many OTHER nations) have not helped these countries prosper.
Enough is enough - it's time for them to help themselves - in their OWN countries.
American self-sufficiency built the world - now use our example and re-build your OWN countries. -
