I've been on the 'net since 1974, when it was the ARPAnet and you could login to a backbone router and virtual terminal to guest accounts at places like Harvard, MIT and Stanford, and "hacker" wasn't a dirty word. A philosopher and social psychologist by training and a computer engineer by profession, I am a civil libertarian, amateur historian and genealogist and a Tai Chi player.
