Jessica commented on the petition |SOPA and PIPA will break the Internet. As you are no doubt aware, DNS blocking will make the Internet slower, less stable, and less secure. SOPA and PIPA also threaten free speech and free commerce on the Internet because of vague language in the bills. Please, stand with those who love freedom and hate censorship. Free speech is one of our constitutional rights. Allowing multinational corporations like the RIAA and MPAA to censor the Internet to further their corporate interests will be the worst thing that has ever happened to the Internet. I have been using the Internet since I was 8 years old and my entire life is computers. Congress doesn't even know what DNS stands for, let alone understand the ramifications of what they are being asked to do by these corporations. Steve King (R-IA) tweeted about how bored he was while they were supposed to be discussing it. Other reps stated it was a waste of time. They don't understand what they are doing and they will BREAK the internet due to their ignorance. HELP US FIGHT CENSORSHIP, please.
