  I of course believe Apple should tighten the supply chain. But this petition makes it look like they've done nothing when it seems possible that they've done more than any company: http://images.apple.com/supplierresponsibility/pdf/Apple_SR_2011_Progress_Report.pdf

  Apple seems to have a whole effort devoted to "conflict minerals" since ... well the report came out february 2011. I think it's important we also THANK apple for setting a high standard on this.
