Male circumcision started with the Egyptians and probably before. It does not reduce any sensation. It is not part of the definition of what amputation is. It is not akin to Female Genital Mutilation as it is not causing grievous injury and potential health risks to the recipient--quite the opposite as it turns out. Forcing it on a child could be construed as unjust, but then so would innoculations, vaccinations, and other surgery that the parents must make the choice of having performed in the benefit of the child.
Normally, I would never chime on on this, but I'm thankful that Alanna brought more attention to this issue and it's hard to believe that some of these comments are from human beings.
Or perhaps someone can explain to me why there are no trashcans in Heathrow T5? Not a one. Admittedly though, I've quite gotten used to the idea of just leaving my trash where I've sat. Makes me feel like I'm on the plane already.
In addition to N'Djili in Kinshasa, which I've had the thorough pleasure of sweatily claiming my baggage at as well, I hear from friends that Lagos Airport is quite a thrill and may very well be the seediest airport on the continent.

Ergh, pardon the links... I didn't realize how Change's system read HTML...
While we're not on the mobile path just yet, I'm hoping that a Top Trend list for the end of next year will have Maneno. We're currently just web-based, but will be adding in a strong mobile component, which should be using Ken's system, later in the year. We're very aware that for an application for Africa to suceed, it has to have a solid mobile element that replicates the functions of a site in a to-go format.
Good list though. Cheers-miquelManeno
