I am a mother of 5 adult children, 21 grandchildren, spent most of life on a farm & rural communities; activist early starting with domestic violence organizations charter member; political orgs, food causes, and Community Organizer with a CAP agency; then did 4 yrs college in 1 1/2 yrs. as one of NY States first Regent's External Degree Program grads; became a CLEO fellow; graduated law school at SIU, worked in Alaska with tribal entities including the Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska and with member tribes developing codified law systems; very interested in poverty issues, indigenous people issues and issues of "Preventive and Healing Justice", most recently doing law in NE Neb. but now "retiring" with health problems. I am now busy as an author, gardening, herbs & other foods including cultures and fermentations such as traditional Caucasus grain kefirs, water kefir, kombucha, and developing database of medical, herbal, alternative medicine ... and peace!
