I suppose the next question to pose to Justice Scalia would be, "Does the constitution guarantee a right to heterosexual sex?" I suppose by his theory that any thing that is not included is excluded, so we don't have a right to watch T.V., talk on a telephone, go to a funeral, etc...etc...etc...
It must be that we want to save our children...
Perhaps the ugliest part is that so many people don't consider legislation against LGBT people to be violations of human rights. Take the SCLC, the organization founded by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., for instance. They refuse to support marriage equality for LGBT people publically and have threatened to fire local leaders who publically acknowledge it as a human rights issue.
All I can summise from that is: They must believe we are inhuman.
