David commented on the petition |Since upgrading to Android 2.3 the phone keeps freezing/rebooting at random, so HTC need to fix that. Android 4.0 would be a great update (so long as it works) that may well restore the phone to a perfectly working OS and user experience. I will not buy HTC again unless I get a decent working OS on my phone that does not crash several times each week.

David commented on the petition |My Desire Z started with Android 2.2 which was fine, then it got a 2.3 update and I have had constant problems with random freezing/rebooting ever since. I was hoping that HTC would fix this, but so far they have shown no further interest in updating the OS to something stable.
I would like to get Android 4.0 if it is stable on my Desire Z. I bought this phone for the hardware keyboard and the nice UI.
But it seems that HTC are not so great after all if they can create good hardware and then mess up the OS like this. -
