  I am a victim. My partner of 16 years was unable to obtain a visa to come to the US with me from my years living in Japan. After many years of trying we gave up and unfortunately, due to the cost of flying from Ohio to Japan and back, finally separated. This has to stop, our families are just as valuable and should be supported by our government. Please Pass the Uniting American Families Act!
