Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you owned public bathrooms.
So, what you're saying is that if I don't want to get beat up by people like these... I should wear clothes I'm not comfortable in and act like a female? You really should rethink the words you just spewed.
I'm not trying to sound rude or anything... but with some people, you can tell.
As someone who is F2M transgender myself, this was a real wake up call. It made me realize how few rights we really have and made me want to do something, as well. I'm not sure what yet, as I don't have much experience with activism, but it made me want to do SOMETHING. Thank you for starting the petition. It has my full support.
I must admit to a mistake. I thought the elderly lady was the only one who tried to help, but if you listen closely, the man (who I'm assuming is the manager?) in blue tried to stop them, too. You can hear him saying "Stop!" repeatedly. It's hard to hear what he's saying, though. So, I misheard him the first time.
And yes, that woman should definitely receive a medal. She was elderly and probably could've been taken down easily by those girls and yet was the ONLY one who had the courage to stand up to them.
Be that as it may, I'm pretty sure you should call 911 in situations such as this. Regardless of whether you're trained to get involved or not. Dialling 911 doesn't take much training. (Well, I would hope it wouldn't.) And regardless of their "training", standing by and watching AND egging them on shows a complete lack of professionalism and maturity. I would expect such behavior from a 13 year old, but not from someone who is at least 16. (Though those men appear much older.) Then again, this IS McDonalds... and I have seen the people they hire. Their standards seem to be awfully low.
