Very passionate about helping oppressed populations realize their power. I am married and have three cats. My husband is the Director of the Justa Center, a service center for homeless older adults. I have worked for Lodestar Day Resource Center since September of 2005. There, I have been able to start programs, filling in the gaps for people living in the condition of homelessness. Those include the Get Going Cafe, the homeless post office, and the New Arid Club--a safe sober environment where people can work on recovery from substances. I attend grad school at ASU Downtown for social work and intern at the Phoenix Fire Department with Crisis Response Team. I am very busy, but amazingly fullfilled and grateful to have the opportunities to serve the community.
