  • Food Needs A Stable Climate

In California, thousands of acres of some of the best farmland in the world has been paved over for the construction of thousands and thousands of homes, many of which are now vacant or in foreclosure.  It is obvious that, at some point, housing became the only thing that America was "manufacturing" (except cars that apparently nobody wanted to buy).  Housing Starts became an economic indicator.  To sell all those homes, the developers and lenders got creative -- and voila!  We all know how that turned out.

End corporate agriculture.  Local food is the way to go.  Plant a garden and encourage the Obamas to create a "Recovery Garden" on the White House South Lawn.  Support local farmers and get your food from farmers' markets.  You will be healthier and happier....guaranteed.
