.. and another thing. How dare you accuse or judge anyone as a Christian! I too am a Christian and I grow tired of the accusations made by my brothers and sisters in Christ. You make a blanket comment that translates into your believe that those who use drugs LIKE marijuana AND alcohol have the inability to have fun without them. This is simply not true.

So, cast the first stone Michael Krick. If you're so high and mighty. Should I begin to quote scriptures or do you think you can remember how to remove the log from your own eye. Sin! You make me sick and you give Christians a bad name. Christ was a liberal and a pacifist.

Try to look past the end of your nose!

    @michael krick

Need I remind you that Jesus Christ's very first miracle was to keep a party alive by request from his mother. It's one thing to be a conservative Christian, it's another thing to be crusader of ideals. We all know how the dark ages turned out don't we.

".. is legalizing marijuana really the most important issue we have to deal with?"

To some people, yes! To others, no. Is taking your stance the only one that is right? Not at all. 'To each their own' comes to mind. If I asked what your favorite past time was or what medications you had to take and then told you we were trying to pass a law to criminalize it's practice or use, would you not be upset? If you say no, are you seeking help for your problems with not being able to tell the truth?

" .. do the "Students for a sensible Drug Policy even pretend to address any other issue related to drug abuse? .."

They're not called "Students Against Drug Abuse" are they? Learn to read. How is it that Marijuana users are considered the idiots when those who do most of the name calling make idiotic statements about the topic constantly. Let me break this down for you, please remove your tin-foil hat before reading:

    Students:

These are people that seek an education to better themselves.

    for:

    This means "in favor of"

    a sensible:

This means the above mentioned students seek something that makes sense, rather than something already in place that does not.

    Drug Policy:

The topic. The reason. The "thing". The EVIL thing made by people like you who care more about their own personal gain than the greater good.

We've now had TWO presidents that have admitted to trying Marijuana. What I don't understand is, if I go to a job and say "I've tried marijuana".. even if it's been years ago, it disqualifies me. So, why didn't it disqualify our president?

BECAUSE THE WAR AGAINST DRUGS IS UN-AMERICAN AND WE ALL KNOW IT!

The poll you see above is highly inaccurate. In fact, it almost looks made up compared to CNN's poll a couple months ago or MSNBC's poll from last winter. The poll above looks like something FoxNEWS came up with in their "Arts,Crafts, & Fictional Information Department".

"Tobacco is leagal, cannabis is not."
Until ~something~ about this sentense changes, our country never will, even with Obama. Next election, this needs to be a priority.
