I am married with two children, live in Los Angeles CA. I am a second-generation social thinker/innovator. In 2007, I formed a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation to pursue a socioeconomic sustainability experiment and demonstration. Within the framework of the Los Angeles Peace and Sustainability Project, we are developing concept plans to build a Transitional/Holigent Urban Village on the banks of the soon-to-be revitalized Los Angeles River near downtown Los Angeles. Such a mixed-use, live/work compact urban village, with a car-free pedestrian core, would facilitate the transition from sprawl to vertical expansion, and from car-dependent to car-free living. Once this planned infrastructure is in place, we would introduce the Holigent (holistic-emergent) Solution – redesigning the way we live, work, commute, consume and govern ourselves that would lay the foundation for economic security, social harmony, and environmental healing.
