My ethnicity is Latino and my race is Meztiso. I don't live in Manassas city. I'm a straight ally. I'm a liberal who votes for the person first and political party second. I'm a supporter of youth rights. To view comments which I type for the Choose Responsibility blog, look for Edwin. I'm a youth rights supporter because ageism is prevalent. This includes the ageist drinking age of 21 and the ageist provisions in the CREDIT CARD Act. I believe in tolerance so I don't use "teen" or "kid" to refer to anyone 18 or over and I don't like to use the word homosexual because the acroynm, LGBT, is more acceptable. I've created lyrics and those lyrics can be viewed at the LyricsMode website. To view those lyrics, type 'Emperors of Destruction' or 'Rebels against Oppression' into the website's search engine. I made up the name of those bands although those bands only exist through the lyrics I have typed.

Edwin commented on the article |LEGO should stop treating gender with so much difference and they should stop giving so much importance to research and just advertise LEGO equally to girls and boys. It's bad to read that LEGO's products are at least somewhat sexist.

Edwin commented on the article |It's sad to see that St. Petersburg is sliding towards the relam of oppression and not just against LGBT people. As Russia's largest airline, Aeroflot, should make effort to make their airline more gay friendly. Forcing Maxim Kupreev to marry someone who he didn't love is madness. This is what homophobia and transphobia is made out of. It's going to take a lot of pressure to get Aeroflot to be a more accepting airline for its LGBT employees so Sky Team should remove Aeroflot from the membership. I am going to sign the petition and send e-mails with the poster before Monday.

Edwin commented on the article |Jesus Navarro should be allowed to get the kidney from his wife. UCSF is enforcing an uncredible and cruel rule all because Jesus Navarro is an undocumented immigrant. My advice to UCSF is: forget that part of the paperwork and save Jesus' life. Hopefully, the kidney transplant will proceed and it's good that he has supporters.

Edwin commented on the article |The strategies for the Mayors for the Freedom to Marry are excellent and it's good that 100+ Mayors have signed the petition in support of marriage equality. I live in a town that has no Mayor or a person of a similar position unlike some towns and cities. For people who support equality for LGBT people who live in cities or in towns which have a Mayor, they should participate if they are willing to follow the most important steps. The most important steps I found from the list are getting the media's attention and sending the petition. These guidelines can best be put to use for getting legislators to support bills which recognize same-sex marriage.
