One has to do all within one's power. I HAVE done more than write petitions. I started an anti-war vigil at Rockefellerf Center over 7 years ago, which continues today. I and 17 other grandmothers got arrested in 2005 at the Times Square recruiting center when we tried to enlist. We've trekked to Washington. We've lobbied senators. We've held marches, demonstrations, street theatre, special events. We've traveled abroad to give speeches and help spark the peace movement there. And much more. Still, the wars go on.
Thanks for the advice.
