  What a silly, silly, unscientific article.
  
  Try putting up a PROPER graph without the Y axis grossly exaggerated, and run it over the several thousand years of extrapolated data available.  Suddenly you see that your upward line is just part of a larger, multi-century "sine wave" of temperature adjustments up and down.
  
  Please--it's pathetic when non scientists run amuck as is happening here.
