Michael's facts are straight. He merely said California was The Wicked Witch of the West's home state, not that she had anything to do with the Medicaid cuts. In your lefty exuberance to throw out the dreaded "a republican" did it, you brought up a false argument ...a common Dem tactic. As to facts, the Govenator only proposed the cuts, Cali's largely Dem legislature will have to vote it in.

There you go again. While Washington is among the highest in sales tax (Cali is still King) it is in the middle in property tax. So you're doing your own tax rate calcs? They're incorrect.
Boeing gets the giant tax break because it employees tens of thousands and is responsible for millions more jobs, and thus, billions in other tax revenues (sales for instance, Seattle is the Mall capital of the world, or seems to be).
As the stimulus and history have shown us, the government cannot mend the economy. It can only ruin it. Politicians aided and enabled your "greedy bankers" and feathered their own nest at the same time, leaving us middle class Americans footing the bill. Healthcare is no different. The Politicians gain power, control and aid their cronies and pass the bill on to us.
