leslie commented on the petition |My daughter is a Lesbian. My daughter is a gift from God that was put into my care. I am so honored that she is my child. Now at the age of 28 she has done more than in my 62 years. I absolutely adore her and she absolutely is the most amazing person. Why must we label people. I would not change anything about her. I can stare at her for hours and remember holding her for hours. This is so sick that this crap is something that people are so confused over. You do not change who you are. You know I am so sick of talking about this. Why aren't people more concerned with the banks who stole us blind; with the wars; with homeless? Instead, they want to tel gay people that they can be changed. The Ex Gay organization needs to realize the message they are sending out to young children who already feeling isolated because they feel different than their friends and end up commiting suicide. Leave the gay community alone. They are precious people. I dare anyone to say something derogatory about my child. She is who she is and I love it that she is "Gay]is

Please stop hurting my sisters. We are all part of each other. You do this to one woman and you have done it to all of us. You must stop. This is just too hurtful. Please think of your own mother the next time you want to harm a woman. Think about your mother.
