Mindy -

It is obvious that the hierarchy of the church including and above the rank of Bishop have abandoned their mission to mankind. The world has seen far too often that the church values dogma and theology over the lives and well being of individual parishoners.

This is NOT TO SAY that we can or should or must write off the parish priest - that man who goes to the hospital to comfort the ill, or the man who guides his volunteers into feeding the hungry or literally clothing the naked.

And many nuns, too, have spent their entire lives religious in the service of the poor and needy.

Yes, there are many priests and many nuns who have failed in their callings and have inflicted devastating pain and suffering on innocents, but these much-publicized few are greatly out numbered by those good men and women who have served well and with dignity.

It is the hierarchy of the church that has shit all over itself by making these shameful and appalling statements - by abandoning the humanity of the mission that Christ set for them.

I now openly advocate the degradation and abasement of all church leaders of the rank of Bishop and above. Remember when ACT UP chained themselves to the pews and threw human blood on the cardinal at St. Patricks? That was a start. Let's throw liquid shit. Let's throw balloons filled with urine. Let's set off some smoke bombs. Let's picket these "spiritual leaders" and hold up signs calling them exactly what they are: Christless child fuckers, abominations, whores of Babylon.

Bravo! I'm very happy that you found the strength to be yourself instead of what your father and family *expected* you to be.

Thank you for your example and for your courage.

  • Carl Paladino Says He's Just Being Catholic When He Says Gays Are Disgusting

There are SO many jokes to be made here that I hardly know where to start.

Gays are disgusting but kid-fucking priests are cool?

Children shouldn't be allowed near catholic schools, priests, nuns and Mass?

Being catholic (generally) is not being homophobic?

I'm happy to see this douche shoot himself in the foot nearly every time he's behind a microphone.

  • Glee Portrays Realistic Anti-Religious Sentiment

I think there aren't enough truly angry gay characters on TV. Why can't we have one who thinks along these lines:

"Why the hell should the gay community seek to express its diversity by embracing or advocating the theology and dogma of the sanctimonious, self-righteous liars and bigots who continually oppress us and seek to deny us our civil liberties and our basic human rights? For every single pastor priest or reverend who supports us there are at least a thousand who throw us under the bus every day. Religion is evil. Religion is war and prejudice and hatred."

That would be far more realistic, and completely welcome on my TV set.

    This is hilarious!

But I'm happy to see that gays and our friends - the oppressed minority - has turned the tables to oppress the endangered majority!

I'll laugh about this for days!

"They were hungry and desperate to find out what caused them or their family member to deviate from what they interpreted as God's will."

It is disingenuous of chistians to assume that being gay is not nor cannot be God's will.

God's all powerful but can't create gays?

What kind of lame-ass god is that? Not one that I'll ever worship.
