  UCSF: Don't Let Jesus Navarro Die, Approve His Kidney Transplant

  Please save Jesus' life. Even if he is undocumented, that is something for immigration officials to sort out. Doctors should be in the business of saving lives and leave a person's residency issues to be handled by the INS. Save his life and deal with his status when he recovers! What I was or you were in a foreign country as a tourist, not on their universal health care plan, and we needed emergency surgery -- and all we had was some credit cards and travel insurance that didn't fully cover surgery? We're not residents either, but I think in any developed nation in the world we would get the surgery we need.
