David Curtis

Son of a railway guard and a telephone operator in London. Moderately well-educated before and during World War Two, spending four years in British Army. Trained parachutist. Emigrated to Australia to join police, but started a forty-year teaching career there in the primary sector. Studied Esperanto to provide a common second language for all mankind.
