A dreamer, a daughter, a sister, a mentor, a teacher, and an advocate, LaQuisha Hall is a woman with a purpose that goes far beyond what is expected of her. She is an award winning community service leader of the national Daily Point of Light Award, the local Maryland Good Neighbor Award and several pageantry awards. As a sexual abuse survivor and Mrs. Maryland, LaQuisha actively promotes her platform, Stop the Silence! Sexual Abuse Education & Support, which presents a two-pronged approach—educating the public about the realities of sexual abuse and supporting survivors through the recovery process. LaQuisha works alongside Stop the Silence: Stop Child Sexual Abuse, serving as the International Spokesperson and a board member. A large part of her presentation is devoted to dispelling myths about sexual abuse and sharing recovery options internationally.
