mitra commented on the petition |I don't understand how trademarking the terms urban homestead/homesteading would add to the value and services provided by the Derveas Institute. I support Derveas in most of their previous projects and activities, but this trademark issue seems borderline absurd. As demonstrated by the massive backlash across the internet, the terms have been used for decades before Derveas & friends ever used the phrases.
