I guess I'm an "Old Millenial." When I first heard of your project I didn't even think I was a Millenial. I tend to think of that term as people who have never known a social life without MySpace or Facebook.
*shrug*
But I'm not big on labels or age categories in general. Perhaps Digital Do-Gooder is apt?
I heart AWK. He's so upfront and kind that he has this way of breaking down people's walls of cynicism. I've been to both his concerts (where hard rock and hugs abound), and to his lecture/discussion tour where jaded hipsters discussed humanity and the future with hope.
I don't think Mr. Rogers has ruined us. He was one of the best things to happen to this world. Thinking you're special doesn't mean thinking that everyone else sucks. Mr. Rogers taught that *everyone* was special and that *everyone* could make a difference.
