  Watching Herbie the Rescued Calf Have a Ball

  Violet does that too! The down-dog rubbing with the "roo-ing." It's such a delight to see this side of cows! Every person who claims to love animals should watch this. We say that cows feel pleasure, pain, boredom and frustration, but we rarely get to see the pleasure in action. Thanks!

  A Chance to Help Midwestern Waterfowl

  Thanks Stephanie and Chris! I adore waterfowl and lived within feet of dozens of ducks and geese for a couple of years. I could watch them all day; their lives and habits and personalities are fascinating to me. They are just as worth of our charitable dollars as greyhounds and alley cats and dolphins and primates.
