    To ignore this risk is irrational and it is penny wise and pound foolish. We will be sorry if we do not do more to ensure the safety of our kids. For once, we need to be forward thinking and proactive. And retrofitting schools for earthquakes (and energy efficiency) is a no brainer. It will ultimately cost LESS than BAU
