I'm Founder of Shaping Youth, a nonprofit consortium dealing with media and marketing’s impact on kids, embedding healthier cues in virtual worlds/digital spheres and hands-on counter-marketing games, using tactics of industry insiders to shift the content to meaningful, productive, humane pursuits.
As a passionista by nature (and FOR nature!) my love of animals has earned me the nickname "Dr. Doolittle" for caring for all creatures great and small, including outdoor critters, children and global citizens universally.

Beyond narrowcasting and stereotypes, Lego is also devolving developmental play and societal dumbing down...by shifting from building (entrepreneurial start-up visionary thinking) to assembling (industrial conveyor belt).
This is NOT the direction our global economy needs to go in creating SOLUTIONS-based 21st century 'what ifs' for our future. ALL children (esp STEM/fem 'think differently engineers!) need an open canvas to show and tell powerful possibility over 'pink think.'
