  Apple: Protect Workers Making iPhones in Chinese Factories

  I own an iPhone 3G. I was thinking about upgrading when the next iPhone is released, but now I'm only willing to do so if Apple takes greater steps to ensure worker safety and preserve human dignity in the manufacturing of their products. As one of the biggest companies in the world, Apple is capable of holding suppliers to a higher standard. And as the people who buy those products, we have a responsibility to hold Apple to a higher standard as well.
