I work at a non-profit called YOUTHNOISE, very similar to change.org but with a direct focus on young people changing the world. I run a series of youth summits and our DROP Campaign-a program focused on mobilizing young people, partners, and others in getting water activists to raise awareness and amplify their voices in combating the next big global/human rights/environmental issue.

AmeriCorps was a HUGE part of my life, and put me on the track I am on today. I would not be on this path of doing community work, youth development and working toward education equity if it were not for this program. I know many organizations rely on these important individuals in their orgs. I urge you not to cut this! It's practically volunteer work. Can we start choosing where our tax dollar go? Because I don't want my to fund political wars anymore. You can take the probably 1 cent of my tax dollar that covers this program from that bloated military budget. Thanks.
