Nathaniel, it has definitely been a great ride and tons of great ideas have formed for me because of your material. Looking forward to seeing what you do next with Asset Map. Already dropping it into my RSS reader :)
Thanks for continuing to bring new light to this field and for being a great leader in my opinion.
Definitely looking forward to see how this list fills out during the week!
I think its safe to say that I will try to watch this video just about every morning for the next week - those last 2 minutes really hit home for me and I'm glad I heard it. I always want to live in the cycle of impacting people's lives for the better.
Looks like a fantastic event!
I'm going to have to go with Rosa Parks. And for some reason Amelia Earhart's legacy has always fascinated me.
This is the kind of stuff that irritates me to no end about people who spew garbage online - do homeless people need to be living in cardboard boxes, hobbling around on a crutch and eating ketchup packets to be considered poor/disadvantaged? And if that were true, what does that mean to those who have more? Does that mean flipping a homeless person a quarter makes you feel even better if they are surrounded by vermin on a street corner? This is the kind of notion that perpetuates a low level of giving to people in need. And now all the snobs everywhere can nod their heads, turn up their noses at the actual happiness of a homeless individual. Sad. Well done, Michelle - thank you.
I had the humbling and inspiring opportunity to meet Josh this past weekend and let me tell you, this guy is the real deal. So wonderful to be able to read this post and envision what you have done/will be doing. My interest in using mobile tech for public health has probably increased 100 fold since learning about this project. Can't wait to learn more from you Josh and the others!
