Diego Sebastian
Diego is a six-year old boy waiting to live a normal life, one without shame and ridicule. Diego has microtia (missing ear) and artesia (missing ear canal), but no treatment for his condition is available in his hometown of Juarez, Mexico. Nor can his family afford to pay for travel and treatment elsewhere.
LBFF doctors are donating $18,700 in surgery, but additional support is still needed to make his treatment possible. Diego's treatment will entail two procedures: the first will create a framework for an external ear; during the second, Diego will be fitted with his external ear and bone-anchored external hearing aid.
Our team of volunteer surgeons and doctors are ready to transform Diego's face and life, but they need your help to give Diego a new beginning.
