HELP SUPPORT WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS IN UGANDA

Women in Africa have for long depended on men for everything...everythings! But the first changing conditions, disease, poverty, family instabilities this is no longer possible. Women need to work as men sometimes more, not in the domestic sphere as it used to be but in the informal and formal sector to ensure family survival.

Unfortunately majority women lack the skills needed, seed capital and the knowledge to survive in a fast changing and struggling Uganda economy.

Joy for Children is supporting women find market for their african craft and beads made from locally available materials, such as recycled papers, magazines and calenders necklesses and bracelets. They also use palm leaves, banana fibre and back cloth to make hats, ladies hand bags, money parse.
