HELP THE FAMILIES OF PINE RIDGE RESERVATION
Indigenous Peoples International (IPI) is raising funds to help the families of Pine Ridge Reservation get through this winter by providing money for wood heat, fuel and heaters.
Pine Ridge Indian Reservation is the eighth largest Indian Reservation in the United States and it is the poorest. Unemployment hovers around 80% and around 97% live below the federal poverty level. The population at Pine Ridge has among the shortest life expectancies of any group in the Western Hemisphere. Many of the families on the Reservation are to poor to afford electricity, heating and running water for their homes and they go without while enduring the extremely cold and harsh winters.
PLEASE HELP THESE FAMILIES STAY WARM AND HEALTHY THIS WINTER WITH YOUR DONATION.
Thank you,
Rick Theile – Founder
