Mission

Immigration Equality addresses the widespread discriminatory impact of immigration laws on the lives of lesbians, gay men, and people with HIV through education, outreach, advocacy and direct legal services.

Programs

Limited direct client advocacy for the LGBT/HIV-positive immigration community.
- A nationwide network of immigration attorneys who have significant experience with LGBT and HIV-related immigration issues.
- A pro bono program to help find free or low-cost attorneys for indigent sexual orientation-based asylum seekers and LGBT/HIV-positive immigrants detained by ICE.
