The main aversion people have to government supplied health care is the cost. Nothing is free so if you are not paying for it out of pocket then (theory has it) you will be paying for it in dramatically higher taxes. Something that should be considered when putting together health care reforms is the possibility of paying for American health care through tax revenue generated by marijuana legalization. Marijuana itself is a medicine used (both legally and illegally) by millions of Americans. Legalization would not only allow patients to legally access their medicine, but the taxes generated by recreational use would pay for all of our health care needs without the need to excessively raise taxes. - by mikey johnson
