Medicaid Waivers for the Developmentally Disabled

A Legislative Vote for Fully Funded Wavers is the FIRST STEP in realizing independence not only for those who are personally affected by disability but also those immediate family members and other loved ones; who either care for, or carry concerns for their loved ones; who have disabilities. There is a GREAT CALL upon this NATION to set an example...MODEL THE WAY for the rest of our world... Not only in word but in DEED...SHOWING them that here, in America, EVERY man, woman and child is free to pursue Life, Liberty and Happiness. That Here, the idea that ALL MEN are created equal is not just a collection of hollow words written long ago by forgotten men... but it is TRUELY what AMERICA stands for. That just as liberty stands at our gates whispering the distant credo:
" Give me your tired, your poor,...Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free" That in THIS, our GREAT Land...WE revive those... grown weary of the status quot. That we are receptive to CHANGE. That WE, those who face these challenges, band TOGETHER as ONE VOICE and work TOGETHER toward common goals; in order that what we see through the eyes of our hearts and imaginations; can become what history is made of. We must strive to unite every stakeholder, have conversations and CHANGE minds, hearts and perceptions once and for all.
