NAIS is yet another program that makes government too big and too involved in private sector business.  The tagging does not follow the animals through to the end of slaughter and will thus not help prevent disease.  Whether producers are large or small this is a program which needs to be stopped before it continues.  Government needs to get out of private sector business as NAIS is only empowering government at the cost of our free market system.  This program proves government is not always looking out for the constituents whom employ it.
