Start in the primary school, using Esperanto as an introduction to the teaching of foreign languages in the secondary school. There the teachers of foreign languages will be pleased to be faced with children well-disposed towards their subject, having gained self-confidence through success in learning Esperanto. Foreign language teachers will then regard the language as a friend, not a threat to their livelihoods, as has been the case since its invention in 1887. They alone have the right to teach huge numbers of children foreign language, and they have the skills to learn Esperanto to a high level. It is bound to occur to them to add another string to their bow by teaching Esperanto. Schools will then offer Esperanto as a foreign language subject, and the object of this proposal Esperanto as a Foreign Language Choice will be achieved.
