Imagine if Americans were leaders in the educational field ...
Make high school and college education free
Provide tax credits supporting high school parochial school education.
Follow Ireland's example and provide free College Education.
College was made free in Ireland at the end of 1995.
A minor investment with massive future returns for our country - as Ireland has demonstrated.

It looks like someone has misunderstanding on this bill.
DREAM Act is for students who were pretty much forced to come to the United States because they were under-aged, and therefore do not have the choice to stay behind in their own country (because they can't feed themselves, etc... obviously).
Its not their fault for becoming undocumented, thus, they are not to blame.
Even though this bill passes, its not a "REWARD" or anything of that sort because during the period of time that they are given temporary residence, they need to fulfill all the qualifications such as good moral behavior, high school dip. or GED and must graduate/attend college/university in order to be given permanent residence. Besides, they are not qualified for things like financial aid, so none of our money is spent on THEM. =)

WE have to request from Obama that he set a time frame to pass the DREAM ACT. Time is essential for those that would benefit from it since many are waiting in despair.

I know many college grad. students who already have a Bachelor & Masters Degrees from our great American Universities, some of them are in foreign countries teaching now, rather then teaching in America;because of their Immigration status. These great teachers have left a country they love; they understand the sacrifice of the American Dream and are so thankful they came to America even if force at a young age by family traveling together to the United States. They have been educated and raised in American Public Schools since kindergarden, they have done the hard work and now deserve to be regognized for it,not for just them, but for America. This Dream Act must pass for our children's education to boom , so that they have hope for the future. We are a country of Immigrants, we have the best of the best here because of it. Let us not forget where we came from, and what our tradition has always been, FREEDOM, JUSTICE, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS!!!

URGENT: ACTION NEEDED AT CHANGE.GOV not CHANGE.ORG.
Thank you for your support at Change.org. Thanks to your participation the idea "Pass the DREAM Act" was able to get into the top 10. This was indeed a great success, but our work isn't over.
There is another way to greatly help out the DREAM Act cause. This is at CHANGE.GOV, do not get the confused with CHANGE.ORG. This is new.
By clicking on the link below you can vote for the idea "Enact Sen. Durbin...DREAM ACT 2007."
http://citizensbriefingbook.change.g...Pos=1&srKp=087
Please vote and spread the word the same way you did for change.org.
We can not let any opportunity that arises fall through our hands. We were successful at change.org, but we can further the cause of passing the DREAM Act in 2009 by getting into the top 10 at change.gov also.
Please we are very behind right now with only 6000 points with the top idea at 60000 points.
We must let our voices be heard so the DREAM Act will be brought up in congress in 2009.
PLEASE VOTE AND SPREAD THE WORD.
WE ONLY HAVE 4 DAYS AND TIME IS RUNNING OUT.
Thank you
