Free and fair elections require vigilant citizens. Nothing else will do.
Please go to your county elections official and learn all about the election process in your precinct. Find about opportunities to observe or participate. Engage enough of your friends that you will feel confident that your votes are accurately counted.
If you encounter any resistance, go over the official's head to an elected official or the media. Make a stink until the process becomes transparent and participatory. Democracy only grows from the grassroots.
