Familiarize yourself with L.E.A.P. (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition). They have a very informative website, with a petition supporting Senator Jim Web's Blue Ribbon Commision which is looking to overhaul our hugely flawed prison system, from top to bottom. Endorsed by Walter Cronkite; it is a growing group of mostly retired cops, DEA, judges etc. They are growing in numbers and respect worldwide.

MPP is pretty pathetic for not updating this site.  can they please hand over the reigns to someone else?

also, what is really weak..  http://blog.mpp.org/medical-marijuana/raid-update-brutal-tactics-employed-in-san-diego-d-a-s-war-on-sick/09102009/

MPP (and NORML) won't even post a link to a volunteer driven voter initiative in california to end the prohibition on Marijuana & HEMP  in 2010 http://www.californiacannabisinitiative.org/  instead they choose to basically ignore it, not spread the potential good news, and wait until  2012 so they can have 3 more years of party's @ the playboy mansion.    these two organizations will never receive my cash.

Marijuana is a god given plant intended to be seen for it's beauty along side all other plants to be seen and used as god intended freely by everyone and not just by those self selected greedy getting rich few!!!!!The waste of aircraft, manpower, court, prisons and so forth is a horrible waste of our tax money destroying so many beautiful harmless people's lives.LET'S DECRIMINALIZE AND LEGALIZE FOR CULTIVATION,RECREATIONAL,MEDICINAL AND ALL OTHER USES .Them let's use the money to really help the people for a change.

I know marijuana is being close to be legalized in my state as they already voted on it, but please if it ends up being legalized all I'm asking is to lower the legal age to work....I'm not like most people on this site that don't know anything about how it is on the streets, I know how it is to go stand in front of the liqour store and ask for money when you need it....all I'm saying is if you can't lower the working age I'm not sure if I want marijuana to be legalized....it's not like they're really going to arrest you for it anyway if you don't have alot, i know because cops that catch me or anybody i know with weed just tells us to go somewhere else and smoke or they just take it and give a citation but it's not that big of a problem for it to be illegal.
