If you are looking for something for green, you can check out Big Green Cart is an eco-friendly online auction, classified and swap website dedicated to sustainable, organic goods and/or services. We promote Green commerce by encouraging our users to exchange products that have minimal negative impact on our planet's health.
We believe that the planet's future is dependent upon green thinking, buying and selling. We want to stimulate the eco-community into the greening of all purchases and utilizing the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
Our working philosophy is eco-shop and eco-swap, and that sets us apart from other auction websites, and also puts our users in the forefront of modern Green living.

My suggestion is to save more trees,we hear about this but when in need to save green space there is no one to help.i live in south carolina and have been fighting for a small strip of property to remain green space.Due to the word greed, the planning commision has asked again to rezone a piece of property that has been zoned for residential since 1979 to be changed to commerical. The trees are important to save our enviorment,no one cares about the hawks, cardinals and other creatures in this area.So every effort to save the planet should be respected and i support yours.

Most of the electricity used for heating and cooling buildings, heating water, and drying clothes could be obtained through direct passive solar construction, which needn't cost any more than regular construction. If you are in a building trade, please visit your local library and study passive solar principles.
There are great opportunities for contractors in any community more than 45 degrees from the equator. One could look along the north side of every east-west street for houses with good solar exposure year round. The savings from a quality attached greenhouse will quickly outpace the costs. It's an easy sell and a great way to improve business in tough times. Increased local food production is a bonus!

Most of the money given for green causes in the last stimulus bill was given to utility companies. Now while this is no horrible thing, putting power generation in the hand of the home owner or small building owner, allows the owner to recoup cost. I know that in Texas, private solar could due away with so much, dirty coal.
