That's a funny video, but there's another, even more effective way to fight junk mail. Use those postage paid envelopes to send the junk back to the sender. That way, you're really hitting them in the pocketbook (and giving them a financial reason to stop sending out junk).
When you opt out, that only helps refine the mailing list. It's providing them a free service, and it simply shifts the junk onto someone else. To stop junk mail, you have to make it cost direct mailers more per customer they gain.
